About Restoration Resource
Restoration Resource has served Pasco since 2022. Meet our IICRC-certified restoration team. Licensed, insured, locally owned.
Restoration Resource opened its doors in 2022 with a narrow focus: water, fire, and mold damage are technical problems that require trained crews and the right equipment, not just a mop and a fan. Restoration as an industry exists because property damage doesn’t wait for convenient timing, and the companies that do it well are the ones that show up prepared and stay through the entire claims process, not just the demo day.
The work itself is unglamorous and detail-heavy. It means being reachable around the clock, since the Hours this company keeps are 24/7, and most calls come in after a pipe has already soaked a subfloor or smoke has already settled into drywall. It means walking into a house on what is often the worst day of a homeowner’s year, explaining what’s salvageable and what isn’t, and documenting every moisture reading and photo an insurance adjuster will need to process the claim. A good chunk of any given week is spent on paperwork and phone calls with carriers, because the restoration itself only moves as fast as the claim does.
What we do
Day to day, the job is reading moisture rather than guessing at it, tracking drying progress with instruments instead of waiting for carpet to feel dry underfoot, and knowing that a wall that tests dry on the surface can still be wet behind the plane where it matters. It’s coordinating with adjusters, writing scopes that hold up to review, and making sure a homeowner understands what’s happening in their own house instead of being handed a binder of jargon. Restoration work rewards patience and process more than speed alone.
Our certifications and licensure
Restoration Resource is an IICRC Certified Firm, which means the company meets the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification’s standards for training, ethics, and field practice, not just a one-time class. On top of that, technicians carry IICRC credentials in Water Damage Restoration (WRT), Applied Structural Drying (ASD), Applied Microbial Remediation (AMRT) for mold work, and Fire & Smoke Restoration (FSRT). Each of those covers a different technical discipline: how water migrates through building assemblies, how to engineer a drying plan instead of just running fans, how mold colonizes and how to remove it safely, and how smoke residue behaves differently depending on what burned. Restoration Resource operates under license #RESTORL764CE.
Where we work
Pasco is home base, and the daily service area runs through the Tri-Cities and the surrounding Columbia Basin communities. It’s a region with a lot of slab-on-grade construction, irrigation canals running near residential lots, hot dry summers followed by winter freeze-thaw cycles, and a housing stock that spans older downtown Pasco homes to newer builds pushing out toward Kennewick and Richland. That mix means different failure points, from older galvanized plumbing to newer stucco and EIFS systems that trap moisture differently than traditional siding, and knowing the difference matters when a crew is deciding how to open up a wall.
